Welcome!

We would love for you to join us in the worship of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.  Our services are about an hour long, and everything we do during the service is designed to honor and glorify Jesus.  We rely on the Bible as our final authority for all things pertaining to life, including our intention to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. We welcome you with open arms!  God bless you today!

Lesson's from the Bible

Luke 2:8               The Christmas Story

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” 13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”                                                                                                                                                                                            Shepherds. They spent most of their time in the field caring for the sheep. They were poor and dirty, looked down on by people and yet it was an important job that needed to be done. God didn't look down on them. An angel appeared and told them about the birth of Jesus. Then a multitude of angels sang. What a glorious thing to see and hear. They were chosen for this blessing just as an average young couple was chosen to be earthly parents to this special child. God doesn't use people who are full of themselves and think they are in control. He uses humble people who give God control. The shepherds didn't sit around talking about what they saw. They got up and went to see this child. Do you go to God or rely on yourself? God is able, you are not.

To Ponder:

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast.
